Notification Settings
Data Mission Sync sends email notifications to keep you informed about important account and synchronization events. Access your notification preferences by clicking your profile icon and selecting 'Settings', then navigating to the 'Email Notifications' section.
Notifications are organized into categories. Some notifications are required for service operation, while others can be customized based on your preferences.
Required Notifications
The following notifications are essential for service operation and cannot be disabled. These are legitimate business communications that inform you of important changes to your account:

| Payment Failed | Sent when a payment attempt fails. Allows you to update your payment method before service is interrupted. |
| Payment Method Updated | Confirms when your payment method has been changed. Provides security awareness for billing changes. |
| Subscription Cancelled | Confirms when a subscription has been cancelled and explains what to expect. |
| Subscription Suspended | Sent when a subscription is suspended due to payment issues. Informs you of service interruption. |
| Organization Invitations | Sent when you are invited to join another organization. Required for the invitation workflow. |
| Trial Activated | Confirms when a product trial is activated, including trial duration and end date. |
These notifications are not marketing emails — they are system-generated messages that directly relate to your use of the service and are necessary for account management.
Optional Notifications
You can choose to enable or disable the following notifications based on your preferences. Toggle each option on or off and click 'Save Preferences' to update your settings.

| Sync Failures | Receive an email when a source table fails to sync successfully. Recommended for proactive monitoring. |
| Billing Reminders | Receive reminders about upcoming billing cycles. Helps you prepare for charges. |

Communications Preferences
Manage your marketing communication preferences. These are optional and can be changed at any time.

Updating Your Preferences
To change your notification settings:
1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner
2. Select 'Settings'
3. Navigate to the 'Email Notifications' section
4. Toggle notifications on or off as desired
5. Click 'Save Preferences' to apply your changes
Your notification preferences are saved to your user account and apply across all organizations you belong to.
